• “Verily, they (Our servants) will be aided. Verily Our army will be victorious.” (Surah As-Saaffaat)

• “Allah aided him with such armies which you could not see.” (Surah At-Taubah)

• “Unto Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is The Mighty, The Wise.” (Sural Al-Fatah)

• “And no one knows the armies of your Rabb except He.” (Surah Mud-dath-thir)

The Vicegerents of Allah

Allah Ta’ala has appointed the Mu’mineen as His vicegerents on earth to administer His Law. From the very inception of Islam, Allah Ta’ala had made the Muslims the rulers of the world to enable them to govern justly and benevolently according to the sacred Law which Muhammadur Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) delivered to mankind from Allah Azza Wa Jal.

As long as Muslims had acquitted themselves correctly in their sacred Office of Vicegerency, Allah Ta’ala sustained their kingdom with honour. When the Ummah became indolent and indifferent to the sacred purpose for which Allah Ta’ala had created them, they lapsed into the spiritual rut and rot in which non-Muslims were floundering.

Roohaaniyat the Basis of Power for Muslims

Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’aan Majeed: “And, if among you there are twenty Saabiroon, they will vanquish two hundred, and if there are of you a hundred (Saabiroon), they will defeat a thousand of those who have become kuffaar. This is because they are a people who do not understand.”

The Qur’aan Shareef, the Ahadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), and the practical demonstrations of the Sahaabah and the early Muslims testify that the power and victory of Muslims are not dependent on military superiority, nor can the conspiracies of the enemies overwhelm the Believers. Confirming this, the Qur’aan states: “And if you adopt taqwa and sabr, never will their plots be able to ever harm you.”

Afghanistan:

The Jihad in Afghanistan is also on the upsurge. Clashes with U.S. troops and their surrogates are occurring daily.

The Mujahideen attacks are increasingly assuming the Iraqi pattern. Recently heavy casualties have been inflicted on U.S. forces and soldiers of the stooge government. Some of the recent achievements of the Afghan Mujahideen are detailed below:

* In an encounter in the Province of Zabul more than 24 U.S. troops were killed. This attack was quickly followed up with an attack on Afghan ‘government’ forces headquarters in the Province of Arghendab. All government soldiers fled the scene of the battle. The Mujahideen pursued them and the local commander, Isa Muhammad was killed.

Tip of the Iceberg

In Iraq more than 100 operations are staged daily by the Resistance forces across the country. This means that in one month more than 3000 Mujahideen and other Resistance forces operations take place. It is impossible to report all these operations.

In this issue of Al-Haq we have briefly mentioned just a few operations. This represents the tip of the huge iceberg of Mujahideen operations against the U.S. military and its stooge appendages in Iraq.

Violence 'Serious'

The British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said that the violence in Iraq was serious. “It is worse than we had anticipated.”

Indeed it will be extremely serious and bad for the aggressors who had anticipated roses and garlands of flowers when they set their feet in Iraq.

The Jihad in Chechnya

During 1999, General Kazanstev, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian army which had invaded the Muslim land of Chechnya, boasted: “This time, the war will be over in two —three weeks.” Several generals who were with Kazanstec when he made this pronouncement were grinning their approval and exuding with confidence.

Today, 30 June 2005, is the 302nd week which sees the Chechen Jihad in strong progress, Alhamdulillah! 302 weeks is a far cry from the promised two to three weeks.

In addition to the war not being ‘over’, it has in fact extended to the whole of the Northern Caucasus region. The paucity of news from the Jihad zone due to the news blackout has concealed the plight of Russia in Chechnya.

Mujahideen Gains

Contrary to Putin’s claims and empty promises of “the end of the war”, the Chechen Mujahideen have captured large areas. The whole Vedeno region is under Mujahid control.

The Mujahideen now move around in big groups either on foot or riding on horses. The state of their arms have also improved.

In Mahachkla and Johar explosions and attacks of the Mujahideen are on the increase. In Ingusheti, the Russian armies are more under Mujahideen attack than even in Chechnya. But the news blackout is keeping the world in the dark about the developments in these regions.

The Mujahideen are also active in Kabardino-Balkaria. The resistance in Dagestan is as strong as ever. The fighting has not reduced, and the Mujahideen have diversified their activities.

Russian Casualties

According to independent observers about 20,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in the current Russian-Chechen war which began in 1999 and in the previous war between 1994 and 1996. However, according to Chechen sources 45,000 Russian soldiers have perished in the second war (from 1991), and 80,000 in the first Chechen-Russian war.

Eyes on Iran and Syria?

The frequent sabre-rattling by the U.S.A. at Iran and Syria has created the notion that an American invasion of these two countries is imminent. The American debacle in Iraq precludes any invasion into Iran and Syria.

The furthest which could be postulated in the present scenario is strikes from the air and from far a field —from bases and from the sea.

When the U.S.A. has demonstrated its impotency in Iraq— when its military is grinding under the terrible yoke of the Iraqi ‘insurgency’-when it has run out of essential equipment like Humvees and other military hardware, does not seem plausible that Bush & Co. will act with total insanity to invade Iraq and Syria. While strikes from great distances are probable, the U.S.A. no longer possesses the military wind for other land battles which may prove to be more intractable, more gruelling and violent than the Iraqi conflagration.

Who are the Greatest Conspirators-East or West?

Intrigue and conspiracy are features common to both shayaateenul ins (human devils) and shayaateenul jinn (jinn devils). All shayaateen (devils/satans) are dark and evil forces. Thus, intrigue and conspiracy are their natural attributes.

Politically and socially the world of mankind is divided into two spheres—east and west. Kufr and spiritual darkness exist and dominate in both spheres. Which sphere excel in conspiracy?

Who of the east or the west is the greater Satan? To know the answer it is necessary to ascertain the state of affairs which prevail in the realm of our co-species, the jinn. Since there is a strong relationship between human and jinn devils, the answer to our question can be acquired by looking into the world of the jinn.

Their 'Severe Infighting'--The Dwindling Coalition

Although the enemies of Islam had laboured to present a united front in their aggression on Iraq, the facts of their severe differences and mutual enmities could not be concealed for too long. The American coalition is in its death throes. The BBC NEWS reported:

“The Bulgarian parliament has endorsed the decision to pull the country’s 450 troops out of Iraq by the end of the year. Japan is reported to be planning to do the same thing. The Ukranians, among others, have been withdrawing, Poland is cutting its commitment.

After some very acrimonious departures in the past—like that of the Philippines—it is difficult to escape the impression that Washington’s band of coalition partners in Iraq is dwindling. Of course, US officials would prefer it was not happening, with the security situation still very uncertain. But the departures probably will cause some headaches as US commanders of the multinational force in Iraq try to plug emerging gaps.”

The Invasion has Exposed the Impotency of the U.S.A.

A SALUBRIOUS REVELATION of the American invasion and escapade in Iraq is the exposure of the impotency of the formerly feared ‘super-nuclear power’. The quagmire in which the U.S.A. has become entrapped in Iraq in consequence of the U.S. military’s inability to eliminate the Iraqi resistance, has provided a vista through which the world can conspicuously observe the impotency of the U.S.A.

The U.S. military with its might and satellite technology has failed to conquer the ‘rag-tag’ groups of a small, emasculated country without a government, without any armed forces and without any central command to galvanize the opposition of the many splinter groups operating against the Americans.

Their Plots Will Fail

“And there is nothing whatsoever in their (plots) to harm, except with the permission of Allah.”(Qur’aan)

IN THE ART of weaving conspiracies no one can outclass the West. Westerners have always been the experts among the plotters of the world.

In this age the U.S.A. has degenerated to the lowest ebb of gutter morality in its conspiracies to harm and destroy the Ummah of Islam. But Allah Ta’ala assures the Muttaqeen that the conspirators cannot harm them as long as Allah Ta’ala does not will so.

The element of Divine Will and Intervention is missing in the long term plots of the U.S.A. and others of its ilk. They plot and weave long term conspiracies, only to suddenly discover the intervention of an unexpected development which throws their conspiracies completely out of gear. Since they are a people who lack in intelligence and true belief, the Americans have arrogated divinity unto themselves, thinking that whatever they plot will materialize according to plan. But the Qur’aan Majeed assures the Believers:

Rumsfeld, Bush, U.S.A. in a Quandary

JUST A FEW days after Dick Cheney claiming that the Iraqi ‘insurgency’ was in its ‘death throes’, Rumsfeld made the astounding admission that “defeating the Iraqi insurgents could take 12 years.”

When Dick Cheney had made his claim, the highest-ranking military commander of the US forces refuted and criticized him for the ludicrous claim. The commander had stated that the ’insurgency’ was “as strong as it was six months ago”.

“Rumsfeld warned yesterday that the insurgency could grow through the year—’may very well continue to or get more violent….”

(The Herald 26 June )
